There were no paragraphs, this was rather annoying. The main character was not likeable, or even very interesting. He is a retired British detective who moves to a small town, meeting a woman with a teenage daughter, and it drones on with unrealistic conversation. Did I mention the graphic sexual content, over and over, how he seems to disdain women in general but they do not matter.Okay, I can see that the main character just want to have sex, but it degrades everyone, he is truly a pig. He is so egotistical that you end up hating him, and hoping he dies. The women are just as unlikable and unrealistic...clearly the author has a problem with women. I really would not recommend this book, it is muck.

This is very well researched.If you are interested in the supernatural,this is well worth a read.

Okay, I can see that the main character just want to have sex, but it degrades everyone, he is truly a pig. He is so egotistical that you end up hating him, and hoping he dies.
